Lodging and breakfast in a 2-star hotel. D2: MOUSTIERS SAINTE MARIE - LA PALUD SUR VERDON (12 miles)-Ascent 2100ft. From Moustiers Ste Marie you will go through the Ste Anne chapel, the hamlet of Venascle, the Fond Roult gully, Montdenier forest, Ane pass, Venarelle canyon and Coteau d'Acle gully before reaching the Croix de Chatauneuf pass for a final walk down to La Palud Sur Verdon. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a two-star hotel. D3 : Walk around LA PALUD SUR VERDON (10 miles, 6 hours walk) 'You'll leave the village walking along the Mainmorte gully and walk the path "sentier de Baliston" which runs along the canyon, go by the remains of "les bastides de Gabrielle". You'll then reach the Mainreste belvedere, prior to leaving the canyon; walk upstream the Grinhan gully heading back to La Palud. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in the same two-star hotel. D4: LA PALUD - ROUGON (13 miles0, 8 hours walk) The nicest walk of this tour. You'll reach the" chalet de la Maline", where starts the famous path "sentier Martel" with exceptional views of the Verdon Grand Canyon and end up at 'le point sublime", near Rougon. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a two-star hotel D5: ROUGON - CASTELLANE (12,5 miles. Ascent 1200ft) Walk by the "Barre de Catalan", Chastreuil hamlet, St Jean chapel and Brandis gully prior to reach Castellane. Dinner, lodging, breakfast in a two-star hotel. D6: ST ANDRE LES ALPES- CASTELLANE (12,5 miles, ascent 1200ft) Transfer by taxi from Castellane to St Andre. Walk by the old village of Courbon, Baume village and Baume pass. You cross the Cheiron gully and then go down to Castellane. Dinner, lodging, breakfast in the same two-star hotel D7: CASTELLANE.
