Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a two-star hotel D2: ST SEURIN DE CADOURNE (12 miles) Walk around ST SEURIN DE CADOURNE through the Medoc and the Haut Medoc vineyards by Queyzans, the typical village of St Yzans-de-Medoc, and the remains of the Ile abbey, the tiny la Marechale Harbor, Château Loudenne and the banks of the Garonne estuary. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in the same2-star hotel. D3: ST SEURIN DE CADOURNE - PAUILLAC (12 miles) You leave this MEDOC village to carry on along the Garonne side, cross some small canals and reach St Estephe village. Discover some of the chateau wineries and vineyards such as Chateau Calon Segur, Phelan Segur, Montrose, Tronquay Lalande or Pomys. Across the railroad tracks to Chateau Clos Labory and Clos d'Estournel prior to enter Pauillac, the capital city of Medoc wine region with its surrounding vineyards and world-renowned Lafitte Rotschild chateau. Then walk into town along the riverbank. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a 2-star hotel in Pauillac D4: PAUILLAC VINEYARDS (11 miles) Discovery walk through the Pauillac vineyards and by some famous chateaux as Mouton-Rothschild, Pontet-Canet, Pichon Longueville, Chateau Latour. Back to Pauillac. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in the same 2-star hotel D5: ST JULIEN VINEYARDS (9 miles) Discovery walk through the St Julien vineyards: From outside of the hotel, you'll head towards St Julien village and do a large circle through its prestigious vineyards such as Chateau Talbot, Chateau Lagrange, Gruaud-Larose, Beychevelle. Back to the village where a taxi will drive you to Margaux Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a 3-star hotel in Margaux D6: HAUT MEDOC (6 miles) Today you will discover two other lesser known vintages of Haut Medoc, Listrac and Moulis which are two typical villages within the Medoc wine area located slightly further from the Garonne banks but producing some exceptional vintages. The taxi will drop you next to Chateau Chasse spleen in Grand Poujeaux hamlet from where you'll walk through vineyards and pinewoods to explore some famous chateau wineries such as Lestage, Clark, Citran as well as Tiquetorte ancient water mill. After spending some time in the villages of Listrac and Moulis, you will be heading back to Margaux. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in the same 3-star hotel D7: MARGAUX AND CANTENAC VINEYARDS. (7 miles) Walk in loop around the Margaux and Cantenac Vineyards. You will keep on discovering these world-renowned fabulous chateaux winery names such as: Chateau Lacombe, Chateau Rozan, Chateau Kirwan, Chateau Prieuré-Lichine, the 18th Century Chateau Issan. You will walk to the Garonne banks to see some islands in the middle of the Garonne estuary before coming back to where you started from, via Chateau Margaux the best of all!
