 Tour description : D1: Arrival at MONTIGNAC. Visit of the town. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a two-star hotel D2: MONTIGNAC- ST AMAND de COLY (9,5 miles) the walk starts at Montignac and the first stop, few kilometers later will be for the visit of the famous prehistoric cave of Lascaux. Then, you continue your walk to St Amand de Coly through different very beautiful villages. St Amand is a beautiful village with an amazing fortified church, one of the most beautiful in Perigord. Back to Montignac by taxi Dinner, lodging and breakfast in the same two-star hotel D3 : ST LEON DE VEZERE - LES EYZIES DE TAYAC(13 miles) Transfer by taxi from Montignac to St Leon. From this small 12th century village built around a loop of the Vezere River you'll walk through Peyzac le Moustier, la Roque St Christophe, The Mouslier, Tursac, Peloux, Cugnes and Jarjottes. Dinner, lodging and breakfast in a two-star hotel D4: LES EYZIES DE TAYAC - BEYNAC (7 miles walk) Morning discovery of Les Eyzies with its Prehistory Museum. Transfer by taxi to area of chateau de La Roque. 7 miles walk by the Redon-Espic chapel, Cazenac, Langlade and the Brudou valley before reaching the Dordogne valley at the entrance of Beynac.
