Day 1: Paris – Normandy (Giverny, Honfleur, Caen WWII Memorial Museum)
Morning departure from Paris.
Suggested time: 9am. 1 hour drive to Giverny for tour of Monet’s house
and gardens (1h1/2)
1-hour ½ drive to
Honfleur fisherman harbor. Free time for lunch. 1 hour drive to Caen for
3 hours tour of interactive of WWII Memorial Museum.
40 minutes drive to Ferme
de la Ranconniere, northeast of Bayeux for Dinner (drinks not
included) and overnight.
Day 2: Normandy (Invasion Beaches, Bayeux Tapestry)

to Fougeres (30 minutes) for 15 minutes overview of walled fortress.1h1/2
drive to Le Mans.free time for lunch and discover the medieval town.
Tour of Automobile Museum with exhibits of cars from 1885 to 1990 (1h1/2).

south of Tours for dinner (drinks not included) and overnight.
Day
5: Chateau Country. (Azay,Villandry,Langeais,Vouvray Wines)

minutes drive to Villandry. Free time for lunch at the terrace cafeteria

fortress.40 minutes drive to Vouvray for tour of wine cellars and wine
tasting. (40 minutes). 15 minutes drive to the city of Tours. Free time

for dinner (drinks not included) and overnight.
Day 6: Chateau Country (Chenonceaux, Chambord)
Breakfast at the Domaine.
Suggested departure time at 9am.1 h drive to Chenonceaux for 1h1/2 tour
of this chateau built over the Cher River and its magnificent gardens.
Free time for lunch at the cafeteria located in the former stables.1 h
drive to Chambord, shadowing Versailles by its size.2 hours tour.1 hour
drive to chateau de Chissay, a couple of miles east of Chenonceaux, for
overnight. (Dinner at leisure)
Day 7: Chateau Country – Paris (Chartres, Versailles)
Breakfast at the Chateau.
Suggested departure time: 9:30am. 2 hours drive to Chartres.Try to catch
Malcolm Miller tour at 12noon in the cathedral, which is famous for its
stained glass windows. Free time for lunch.1 hour drive to Versailles.2
